Ages and session length

Children between the ages of 4 and 16 are ideally suited to learning with Winterteach via Zoom. Sessions can be timed to suit the learner's attention span, and are generally best from 30 minutes up to 90 minutes.

Individual support for students who are learning English in addition to their home language. Students are supported in their reading, conversation and writing, with grammar points being taught throughout. Teaching is highly personalised with continuous assessment of needs. 1:1 tuition allows for repetition and practise to suit each individual's needs.

Supervision, support and homework guidance

It may be beneficial for a student to have regular time with WinterTeach to do homework or to have support with projects. Setting aside regular time to study with WinterTeach can add motivation and a level of support which is often hard to achieve at home.
