Teaching is via zoom and students are expected to have a computer or an iPad as well as a whiteboard and marker. We share resources on Google drive (which requires a private (non school) google account to operate). Some resources lend themselves to being used on paper.

Before your first tuition session, a zoom link will be sent to you via either email or WhatsApp. These links are password protected to provide a secure connection. 

To make lessons work well, please:

• work in a public part of your home where there is an adult nearby

• be on time

• have a whiteboard pen, board duster and marker ready 

• have a notepad and pen

• have a computer and/or tablet ready (some students connect to the meeting using both to enable them to write more easily using the tablet)

• check your internet connection is stable

• go to the toilet before the session

• have a drink nearby in case you are thirsty

• have a snack beforehand so you are not hungry

• have headphones and a mic if there is noise in the room

• be prepared to participate and explain your thinking
