My son absolutely loved writing sessions with Anne. She is captivating, comical, and lively. Laughter fills the air whenever he has lessons with Anne. Best of all, my son always ends the lesson with a huge smile on his face.

Anne makes learning so simple and effortless. She tickles the child’s interest and is able to bring out the best in the child. With her guidance and encouragement, my son has made huge progress in writing. He has definitely become more confident and fluent in expressing in himself. Thank you Anne! You are fabulous!

My son tutors one to one with Anne and her classes are so worthwhile. She breaks down things so they are understandable, and always keeping it light and fun. Her lessons are very engaging, useful and she is very patient and supportive with my son. Like all in her cohort, our daughter returned to school after lockdown and was almost straight into mock exams which threw her hugely after several years of learning remotely.

She felt pressure from us, the school, the system and her peers and was utterly terrified by the whole exam process, cried after every paper I think and didn’t do as well as she’d hoped so was gutted. Luckily we knew of Anne and was impressed by her teaching credentials and mindfulness background and thought that this could help a teenager feeling stress and pressure from every angle.

The sessions are totally confidential so I don’t actually know what goes on - it is her time! But whatever it was it worked almost immediately. For the last few months of school through her revision she was focused and calm, didn’t compare herself to others as much, embraced her strengths, kept smiling and was just a very different girl. During her GCSEs she didn’t cry once after an exam! If one was tough she didn’t dwell and moved on to the next topic.

It was unbelievable - she has come out of a really competitive environment seemingly unscathed and happy. And to top it all off, she did brilliantly in her exams - up at least 2 grades in most subjects. So she has got to where she wanted and we are utterly THRILLED!!!

We can’t thank Anne enough for whatever it is she has done!!! Exams aren’t everything but our daughter's sanity and strength are pretty important and they are shining through. You are amazing Anne!

My son has absolutely loved his year with Mr Winter in the Y4/Y5 Puzzles and Games sessions. It was a massive confidence booster for him and showed him that Maths can be great fun! It is now his favourite subject, thanks to Mr Winter. He used to get intimidated by mathematical word problems, but now grasps them well and finds them a fun challenge. He was really proud that he learnt about prime numbers and powers before they'd even covered it in school. I highly recommend these online sessions with Winterteach for any child who wants to have fun with learning or needs a bit more confidence.

Ben Winter is an inspirational teacher.  He has an in-depth knowledge of maths and his passion for the subject is passed on to all of his students.  Ben's online lessons are excellent.  He has created a wide range of step by step videos to support and inspire learning at home.

Mr Winter has worked with my Year 4 daughter via Zoom for almost a year now. I have watched her confidence within the areas of both Maths fluency and reasoning grow during this time and she has really enjoyed her sessions with him.
